Flow Control Group (FCG) was preparing to celebrate a remarkable milestone—ten years of growth, innovation, and success. For the organization, this wasn’t just another anniversary; it was an opportunity to reflect on how far they had come, recognize the people and partners who made it possible, and set the tone for the next decade of progress.
To bring this vision to life, their Vice President of Human Resources turned to Symphonix. The ask was clear but ambitious: deliver a full suite of creative, branded, and experiential materials that would capture the spirit of FCG’s journey. This meant everything from concept development and storytelling to design, production, and installation—on a fast-paced timeline.
The scope was broad and multifaceted. FCG needed printed pieces that could share their history and highlight their culture, as well as custom promotional items that would make the milestone memorable for employees and guests. Each element had to be on-brand, cohesive, and worthy of a celebration marking a decade of achievement.
The Symphonix Solution
To capture the spirit of FCG’s 10-year journey, Symphonix approached the project as both a storytelling challenge and a brand experience. Our team managed everything end-to-end—creative development, design, sourcing, production, and installation—ensuring every detail tied back to the milestone and the “summit” theme of achievement.
Print Materials
We began with the foundation: a series of print pieces that would document FCG’s story and serve as lasting keepsakes for employees.
- 10-Year Storybook: A 28-page commemorative book chronicling FCG’s journey from start-up to industry leader, built around insights and reflections from the Founder and Executive Chairman. This piece blended storytelling with design to honor the people and partnerships behind their growth.
- Basecamp Guidebook: A 186-page employee resource that distilled FCG’s processes, culture, and values into a practical guide for team members. The sheer scale of the book made it both a reference tool and a powerful symbol of the organization’s maturity.

- Celebration & Game Posters: Several smaller posters and a large commemorative version designed for team signatures—later framed as a tangible reminder of the event and the unity behind FCG’s success.

All creative work was executed in-house at Symphonix, allowing us to move quickly while maintaining brand consistency. We shared mockups at each stage and collaborated closely with FCG’s leadership team, incorporating their feedback and ensuring the final products reflected their vision.
Promotional Items
Beyond the printed materials, FCG wanted to give employees unique, symbolic items that tied into the idea of “reaching the summit of a mountain.” We curated and produced a lineup of custom promotional pieces that blended practicality with fun:
- A plush yeti mascot, complete with a custom FCG logoed t-shirt, representing the adventurous spirit of the milestone.
- Branded headlamps, a nod to exploration and the light guiding them into the next decade.
- Mini custom Reach The Summit Flags that employees could wave in celebration or display as a keepsake of the journey.
- Classic basecamp ceramic mugs, perfect for everyday use and a reminder of the anniversary.
- 10th Year Anniversary Branded backpack buttons, designed to spark pride and visibility as employees carried them beyond the office.
Together, these elements created a holistic brand experience—one that documented the past, energized the present, and equipped the FCG team to carry their story forward.
The Results & Impact
The celebration was more than a milestone event—it became a defining moment for Flow Control Group’s culture. The combination of thoughtful print materials and symbolic promotional items gave employees a sense of pride, connection, and belonging.

On the promotional side, the playful yet practical items—headlamps, mugs, flags, yetis, and buttons—were a hit. They reflected the “summit” theme while also giving employees mementos that sparked conversation and built camaraderie.
Perhaps most importantly, the event and materials reinforced FCG’s culture of growth, collaboration, and resilience. Employees felt recognized, valued, and inspired to continue climbing toward the company’s next summit.
